Hi, my name is Janet but people call me Tuna. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis on April 2009. My life has been a roller coaster since then. I like poetry, writing, art, video games, science, medicine, sushi, photography, brains, fishes, space, iguanas, among other things. I'm a simple yet complicated person. I'm short tempered, stupid people annoy me, self-centered people make me want to gag, injustice makes me rage. I find myself looking at life from different points of views, I don't like to judge others before knowing them first, would like if others did the same. Prejudice bothers me, I find it absurd. "Never judge a book by its cover but by its context." I have an open-minded sense of humor, which a lot of people would find "offensive", "disgusting", "morbid", "racist", but I'm not trying to offend anyone nor hope anyone would take it seriously. Life's a joke, laugh at it~

Puerto Rico Proposes Iguana Eradication Plan!

Puerto Rico, plagued by iguanas for years, is taking a violent stand against the ubiquitous reptiles. The government is proposing an iguana eradication project that would both eliminate the long-time nuisances, and bolster the territory’s lackluster economy by exporting the reptiles’ meat for as much as $6 a pound.

The Department of Health approved Galan’s plan to train volunteers to capture live iguanas and bring them to a processing center where they can be killed and prepared for export. The complete plan is expected to be finalized by May, when it will be presented to several government agencies for final approval.

Galan makes a point to emphasize that the iguanas are not native to Puerto Rico (they hadn’t been seen in the wild on the island until the 1970s when owners released them and they quickly bred) and that the animals are harmful to the island.

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ; ;!! I want to move >_<
